Definitions

For purposes of this Privacy Policy (the “Policy”):

“Company,” “MJS,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean MJS US, LLC, doing business as MJS Supply.
“Website” means MJS-Supply.com.
“Services” means our product-inquiry, quotation, sourcing, sales, fulfillment, and related business services for rigging, lifting, fall protection, safety, cargo control, material handling, tools, and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies.
“Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, or can reasonably be linked to, an individual, including an individual acting on behalf of a business.
“Service Provider” means a person or organization that processes information to provide services supporting our Website or business operations. This general description does not determine a recipient’s legal status under a particular privacy law.
“Cookies” means small data files that a website places on a computer or other device. The Website does not currently set Cookies.
“You” and “your” refer to an individual whose Personal Information we process in connection with the Website or Services.

Introduction

Company is an Atlanta, Georgia-based reseller of rigging, lifting, fall protection, safety, cargo control, material handling, tools, and maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, retain, and disclose Personal Information in connection with the Website and our business communications and transactions.

This Policy applies to Personal Information collected through the Website and Services, by email, telephone, text message, social media, at trade shows and industry events, and during in-person interactions. It does not describe the independent information practices of third-party websites or social media platforms.

This Privacy Policy describes our information practices; it is not a request for consent to any processing for which applicable law requires a separate notice or consent.

Children Under the Age of 13

The Website and our business services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to us, contact privacy@mjs-supply.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Personal Information We Collect

Information you submit through the Website. Our quote request form collects your name, company name, email address, telephone number, a description of what you need, and an item list, which are required fields. The Website does not offer user accounts.

Other Communications. When you contact us directly, or interact with us at events or in person, we may collect your name, company, job title, email address, telephone number, business address, product interests, and the contents of your communications, including attachments you send us.

Transaction Information. If you do business with us, we collect information needed to prepare estimates, process and fulfill orders, issue invoices, and maintain business records. This may include billing and shipping addresses, purchase order details, order information, and payment records.

Automatically collected Technical Information. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address, date and time, and the page requested, to operate and secure the Website. We do not use those logs to identify or profile visitors. Our separate form-processing log records the time, request category, and delivery status, rather than your name, email address, telephone number, or item list.

Google Fonts. The Website loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser connects directly to Google to obtain those fonts, and Google receives your IP address as part of that request.

Please provide only information relevant to your inquiry or transaction. Do not include Social Security numbers, medical records, account passwords, or other unnecessary sensitive information in the quote form or ordinary email.

Sources of Personal Information

We collect Personal Information directly from you through quote requests, correspondence, business transactions, and the other interactions described above. Technical information is collected automatically through Website hosting and font requests. MJS personnel may transfer information you provide into our email, customer-management, and accounting systems as described below.

How Quote Requests Are Processed

When you submit a quote request, the Website validates the submission, including required fields, size limits, site-origin checks, and spam filtering. The submission is sent through Resend as an email to quotes@mjs-supply.com, with your email address set as the reply-to address.

The Website does not maintain a database of quote submissions or retain a copy of the submitted form contents. This does not mean the information is immediately deleted from all systems: quote requests, customer replies, and attachments are retained in our business email, and our service providers may maintain operational or delivery logs.

MJS personnel may manually enter relevant contact details, correspondence, and notes into our CRM, or create customer, estimate, invoice, and accounting records in QuickBooks. Quote submissions are not currently transferred automatically into those systems.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use Personal Information to respond to inquiries; prepare quotes and estimates; source products; process and fulfill orders; arrange delivery; issue invoices; maintain payment and accounting records; communicate about requests and transactions; and maintain records of business relationships.

We also use technical information to operate and secure the Website, validate submissions, prevent spam and misuse, troubleshoot delivery issues, and protect our rights. We retain and use information as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

We may use your email address to send product updates, special offers, and other information about MJS Supply’s products and services, subject to applicable consent requirements. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link included in those emails. Opting out does not prevent you from receiving communications about your inquiries, quotes, orders, or transactions. Submitting a quote request does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails. We do not currently send marketing text messages.

Use of Cookies and Internet Advertising

The Website does not currently set Cookies or use analytics tools, advertising pixels, a chat widget, or advertisements. We do not use the Website to track visitors for targeted advertising. Standard hosting logs and Google Fonts requests still occur as described above.

If we introduce Cookies, analytics, chat functionality, advertising technology, or other features that change our information practices, we will review and update this Privacy Policy and provide any notices or choices required by applicable law before implementing the relevant practices.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We do not sell or rent your Personal Information.

Service providers. We use Vercel for Website hosting and form processing; Resend for delivery of quote request emails and related delivery logs; our business email provider for email storage and correspondence; a CRM for contact information, communication records, and notes entered by MJS personnel; and QuickBooks (Intuit) for customer billing information, estimates, invoices, and payment records. Google receives information through the font requests described above. These Service Providers process information in connection with their respective services.

Internal and professional access. Access is limited to personnel and authorized users who need information for their responsibilities. Depending on the system, authorized access includes our website developer, MJS personnel with business email or customer-management access, and our bookkeeper or accountant for accounting records.

Order fulfillment and payment processing. We share information as needed with manufacturers, suppliers, shipping carriers, and other fulfillment partners to source products, process orders, and arrange shipment or delivery. This may include customer or company names, delivery contact information, shipping addresses, and relevant order details. We also share information needed to process payments with our payment service providers.

Other Disclosures. We may disclose information when required by applicable law or legal process, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or transfer of our business.

Social Media and Third-Party Services

If you interact with MJS on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, or another social media service, that service processes information under its own privacy policy. We do not control those independent practices. We may record contact details and the substance of your inquiry in our email or customer-management systems.

Third-party services, including Google Fonts, have their own privacy practices. If you follow a link to a third-party website, review that website’s privacy policy before providing Personal Information.

Retention of Personal Information

We retain inquiry and quote information for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain records of the business relationship, and address related business needs. We retain order, invoice, payment, and accounting records for applicable tax, legal, and accounting purposes.

Retention depends on the type of information, the purpose for which it was collected, the status of the business relationship, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. You may ask us to delete information relating to an inquiry that did not result in an order, subject to information we need or are required to retain.

Accessing and Correcting Your Information; Your Choices

You may contact us at privacy@mjs-supply.com to ask what Personal Information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, or request deletion. We will review requests in light of applicable law and our legitimate recordkeeping needs. We may need information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and locate the relevant records before responding. Please do not send sensitive identification documents unless we specifically request an appropriate verification method.

You may ask us to stop optional follow-up or promotional communications by replying to the communication or contacting privacy@mjs-supply.com. We may still send communications needed to respond to a request, complete a transaction, or meet legal obligations.

You can choose not to submit information through the Website and may contact quotes@mjs-supply.com directly. If you do not provide information necessary to answer an inquiry or fulfill an order, we may be unable to do so.

Nothing in this Privacy Policy limits rights available under applicable law. Additional rights and response requirements may depend on your location and whether a particular law applies to MJS.

Data Security

The Website uses HTTPS. Form submissions are validated before processing, and form contents are not stored in a Website database. We restrict access to business systems to authorized users who need that access for their responsibilities.

No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through the quote form or ordinary email.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable requirements. We will post the updated Privacy Policy on the Website and revise its effective date. If applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a change, we will provide that notice or obtain that consent. Posting a revised Privacy Policy does not by itself authorize a new use of previously collected information where additional consent is required.
